M5 (Istanbul Metro)
M5 Üsküdar - Çekmeköy metro line ((トルコ語:M5 Üsküdar - Çekmeköy metro hattı)), is a rapid transit line of İstanbul Metro system, currently under construction in İstanbul, Turkey. It will be the second rapid transit line on the Asian side of İstanbul, the other partly in service since August 2012, the M4 Kadıköy - Kaynarca.
==Overview==
The construction of the long line in the west-east direction with 16 stations between Üsküdar and Çekmeköy, and its connection line to the depot with length began on March 20, 2012. Projected to cost about 564 million, the line is built by the Doğuş Construction Group and is expected to open in May 2015. The expected opening day has been revised to 20th of September 2016.
The line is expected to extend to (Sabiha Gökçen International Airport ) in the future.
